Mary Barge Hoar

I studied and created art in various media throughout my formal education, and had wanted to be an art teacher. However, I decided that a career in business would afford me more opportunities to travel. I earned Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as Master of Business Administration degrees, majoring in marketing.

During a successful career in sales and marketing, happily married and a new mother, I was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. After this life-altering event, I decided that staying home with our son full-time would be the best for my family and me. It was during this time that I began to work with wire.

Each piece is a singular artistic expression that is inspired by nature, by the places to which I travel, and the people I meet. Anyone who appreciates fine design and craftsmanship will truly enjoy giving or owning a Charming Design.
